Healing and Miracles are the simplest thing in the world to receive from God. You may not know this, but you have received at least one healing in your life. You may be thinking... "yeah right". Well, let me ask you. Have you ever had a cut on your finger or somewhere in your body? it could be small or big. Someone told you ( maybe your doctor or a relative) "don't worry about that cut, it will heal by itself" and you believe it. Sometimes you may put some medicated ointment to help accelerate the healing process and maybe prevent infection (Notice, all the ointment will do is accelerate the process. The ointment is not causing the healing). You may even cover it with a band aid. My point here is, God has designed the human body to heal itself. That healing comes from God. We know that there are some sicknesses or diseases that the body cannot heal by itself, in most cases people go to the doctors for help. When doctors have tried all that medicine and technology could do, and nothing seems to be working, most people loose hope of recovery and resign to die.

I have good news for you today. Jesus Christ can and will heal any sickness or disease, even the ones doctors have not discovered or named yet. If you can trust in Jesus for all your healing from sicknesses and diseases, you will be glad you did.

God is the healer, whether it be the small cut on the finger or the terminal disease or sickness trying to take someones life. God is the healer. You may have experienced or seen a video of healing in a church or crusade and you wondered, "how did that happen?, how can I receive similar miracle?" Its simple. What happened is that God simply accelerated the healing process and to you and I, it all happened in a moment. Of course, what made this happen so quickly was the power of God and what activated that power was the faith of the individual in God. Think about the example I gave you earlier, because of the things people around have told you about cuts and hoe they heal (based on experience), when you have a cut, it does not bother you. You have developed faith knowing that it will heal up, it was just a matter of time. So because of your faith, you body was able to receive the healing power of God causing the healing.

Another truth I will like to pass across here is that the healing power of God is always present everywhere. i.e in the church, playground, hospitals, home. You may ask "well, if its everywhere, why does it not work for me automatically". Let me answer your question with a question. You have electricity in your home, why is there no light in the room? because you need to flip the switch on to get the electricity in the wires to produce light. Similarly, the power of God is everywhere, but it takes the switch of faith to be turned on to receive the healing power of God. However for more clarity, I need to explain how faith and healing work together. 

Healing by the power of God requires faith, said another way, faith in the healing power of God is what activates your healing. To put Gods word to work for you, you must believe that God exisits and that He has power to heal you. Healing is part of the package that came with salvation. Healing is also a demonstration of the love of God to his people. Once you get salvation, healing is also available to you. BUT you need faith to make it your.

Lets say for illustration purposes, your father (Heavenly Father) gave you a set of gifts for Christmas. IN the set includes clothing, a pair of she and an ipod. Imagine the whole 'gift set' is your salvation. Within the gift set you have clothing (let say this is your deliverance from hell), a pair of shoes (lets say this is your provisions) and an ipod (this is your healing). Keep in mind, there is a lot more benefits we enjoy from God the father through His son Jesus Christ, I am just using this for illustration purposes only). Now imagine all these gifts are on a table waiting for you to take or receive them.

The question is " how do you get any of the gifts on the table?". You just simply take it ( by your faith). Afterall, you father told you they are yours. Specifically, how do you get the ipod?, same way, you take it... its that simple! Just like you have a right to any of the gifts on the table, you also have a right to your healing. Remember, all the items on the table have been 'paid" in full. The word of God says " by His Stripes, you were healed" ( 2 Peter 2:24). Jesus paid the price for sin , for our healing, preservation and every need we have in this life ( that is consistent with a Godly lifestyle) and in the life to come (Mark 10:29-30). So, if you do not take your ipod (or your healing), it's not God's fault. He has made the provision for you and I. It's now up to us to take it and enjoy it. As a Child of God, if you need healing, take it, it has been provided for you. Praise the Lord!
